24-25 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Zane Middle School Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at Zane Middle School! I am excited and honored to serve as your principal and look forward to a year filled with opportunities for growth, learning, and success. Whether you are a returning student or new to our school, I extend a warm welcome to all of you.

At Zane, we are dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Our team of educators is committed to inspiring a passion for learning and helping each student achieve their full potential. As we start this new academic year, I want to highlight the importance of maintaining a positive and respectful school culture. We expect everyone in our community to show kindness, empathy, and respect. By working together to foster a safe and inclusive environment, we ensure that everyone feels valued and supported.

I am thrilled to introduce our new Assistant Principal, Mr. Edwin Garcia, who joins us from Mariposa, CA. Mr. Garcia brings with him an extensive background in teaching science and math, and we are excited about the wealth of knowledge and experience he will contribute to our school community. His passion for education and commitment to student success align perfectly with our mission at Zane Middle School. I look forward to working closely with Mr. Garcia and encourage all of you to extend a warm welcome as he transitions to Humboldt County and becomes an integral part of our team.

It is a privilege to be part of this vibrant school community. Our collective efforts make Zane Middle School a fantastic place for students to learn and grow. When we work together towards common goals, we ensure every child’s success. My door is always open, and I welcome your feedback.
